How To Join
NWU-Twin Cities is a local chapter of the National Writers Union. Applications for the National Writers Union are processed by the national organization. You are assigned to a local chapter based on where you live. If you can not be assigned to one of the regional chapters you will be assigned to our At Large chapter.
Eligibility for Membership You are eligible for membership if you have published:
You do not have to live in the United States or be a U.S. citizen to join the NWU. We welcome you if you write for U.S. publishers, publications, employers, or clients. Online Membership Application
To join online, paying by credit card or check, please fill out the Online Membership Application. Paper Membership Application You can also mail in a Paper Membership Form. You can send this directly to the National Writers Union office in New York.
